Windows Live Toolbar
Succédant à la barre d'outils MSN, la Windows Live Toolbar en reprend la plupart des fonctionnalités. Son installation ajoute à Internet Explorer la navigation par onglets ainsi qu'une fonction de création d'onglets favoris pour par exemple ouvrir d'un seul clic tous ses sites préférés dans plusieurs onglets. Mais Windows Live Toolbar offre d'autres fonctions comme un accès aux fonctions de recherche de Microsoft, aux blogs MSN Spaces ou encore à la messagerie instantanée Windows Live Messenger. Microsoft propose également un raccourci vers sa messagerie Windows Live Mail ainsi qu'un filtre anti-phishing.

Les vidéos proviennent directement du site Google Video et ne sont pas donc pas recherchées sur Internet. Le site possède son propre lecteur vidéo, Google Video Viewer, une extension disponible pour Internet Explorer et Firefox, avec lequel on peut regarder directement en ligne la vidéo si celle-ci n'est pas payante. La vidéo est au format "gvi" et ne peut être lue que sur le lecteur Google.
Il est également possible de transférer et de partager ses propres vidéos. La plupart des fichiers disponibles restent cependant issus des Etats-Unis.
La sélection Google Video France : Top100, Humour, Clips musicaux, Sport, Films d'animation, Google Picks, Tous les genres.

Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor
A force de lire la sortie prochaine de Windows Vista (sans cesse repousser), celle-ci est prévue pour les entreprises au mois de novembre en Europe et en janvier 2007 pour le grand public, on pourra toujours installer le Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor pour tester son matériel et de voir si celui-ci sera oui ou non prêt à recevoir le futur système d'exploitation de Microsoft.

Les PagesJaunes vous propose d'utiliser deux projets d'innovation en version Bêta : Rennes en 3D et Paris en 3D.
Avec ces prototypes, vous pouvez effectuer une recherche locale de professionnels dans une ville entièrement modélisée en 3D.
Ce service de Villes en 3D vous permet de visualiser les réponses proposées dans un univers virtuel et de naviguer librement dans la ville d'un simple clic. A noter qu'il ne s'agit pas de représentations parfaitement réalistes, mais de maquettes 3D, illustrations au plus proche de la localité visitée.
Pour profiter pleinement de ce service il faut un ordinateur puissant + Adobe Shockwave + une connexion haut-débit.
